Funeral services for Audrey (Kennedy) Purdom, 53, were held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2024, at Warner First Baptist Church with Pastor Justin Villines officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.
Mrs. Purdom was born on April 14, 1971, in Tahlequah, to Loyd and Magebracht “Maggie” (Young) Kennedy. She died on Dec. 22, 2024 in Tulsa.
She loved hunting and fishing, and spending time with her grandkids. She was a proud member of the Cherokee Nation.
Survivors are her children, Colten Purdom of Warner and Clarissa Davidson (Trevor Johnson) of Nelson, Neb.; seven grandchildren; her mother, of Warner; siblings, Bobby Edwards and Shannon Chesser, both of Warner, and Annie Perry (Tony) of Hulbert; aunts and uncles, Thomas Young (Teresa) and Marlin Young, both of Vian, Cherokee Wallis of Van Buren, Ark., and Rosa “Babe” Pruitt (Kenneth) of Wichita, Kan.; and several other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Purdom; father, Loyd Kennedy; nephew, Chad Chesser; maternal grandparents, James Carl and Maxine Young; paternal grandparents, Isiah and Annie Kennedy; and uncle, Jimmy Young.
Pallbearers were Colten Purdom, Roy Davidson, Axle Davidson, Stoney Purdom, River Purdom, Briar Davidson, Stryker Graves, Braiden Taylor, and Bo Taylor.
Honorary pallbearers were Chad Clay, Jeff Alexander, Andy Shipley, Ricky Burnett and Junior Nichols.
