Funeral services for Martha E. Haney, 89, were held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw.
Burial followed at Gore Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mrs. Haney was born on July 15, 1935, in Gore, to Verna Eliza Ryder Griffith and Edgrandchildren; and many other relatives and Edgar Levi Griffith. She passed away on Wed., May 7, 2025, in Vian.
She worked at Vian Nursing Home for 10 years and was of the Christian faith.
Survivors are eight children, Clifford and Christy Haney, Bill and Dana Haney, and Virgil Haney, all of Gore, Darrell Haney of Louisiana, Terry and Mary Haney, and Bart and Kellie Haney, all of Vian, and Sandra and Donnie Sharp of Van Buren, Ark.; 29 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren; five greatgreatfriends.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Duren; granddaughter, Tristian Haney; seven brothers, Levi, Leonard, Dickie, Solon, Johnny, Venice and Russell; and four sisters, Betty, Ola Mae, Ruby and Margie.
Pallbearers were her sons. Honorary pallbearers were her grandsons and great-grandsons.
