Funeral services for Rachel Sue Fox, 41, of Gore, were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Blackgum Harvestime Church in Vian. Burial followed at White Cemetery in Gore under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Ms. Fox was born on Feb. 14, 1984, in Claremore, to Beth (Jones) Fox and James Fox. She passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025, in Gore.
She and her soul mate, Chad Hornback, shared eight wonderful years together with their four children. She found joy in the open roads and loved riding motorcycles with Chad. She was a member of the Remnant Church of Latter Day Saints and worked for Gore Nursing Home for many years.
Survivors are three sons, Colton Spears of Blackgum, AJ Allen and Lizzy of Atoka and Waylon Hornback of Webbers Falls; one daughter, McKenzie Hornback of Gore; parents, Jim and Beth (Jones) Fox of Blackgum; two sisters, Megan Pitts and Austin of Gore and Shanna Whittle and Chris of Tahlequah; grandmother, Louise Craghead of Blackgum; three uncles, Mickey Jones of Blackgum, Mark Jones of Sallisaw and John Fox of Gore; one aunt, Jacalyn Pack of Sallisaw; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her loving soulmate, Chad; aunt, Rhonda (Jones) Hughart; cousin, Justin Jones; grandparents, Jack and Mable Fox and Junior and Eulene Jones; and great-grandparents, Cecil and Nannie Davis and Marvin and Modean Fritts.
Pallbearers were Austin Pitts, Chris Whittle, Nick Jones, Blake Buttery, Brett Buttery and Mike Davis.
Honorary pallbearers were Mickey Jones, Mark Jones, Charles Davis and Rickey Davis.
