Cremation service for Olive Wofford, 70, of Fort Smith, Ark., was under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mrs. Wofford was born on April 29, 1955, in Stilwell, to Audie and Gertrude McMurtry. She passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2025.
When she was younger she raced in the powder puff derby at Tri State Speedway. She retired from Klein Tools after many years of service and loved to crochet.
She married Bobby Wofford on April 15, 1990. Survivors are her husband, of the home; son, Bobby Wofford, Jr. and Dee of Pocola; two daughters, Steph Wofford Bainfford and April of Greenville, Texas, and Channing Standridge and Trent of Van Buren, Ark.; six grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren; two sisters, Hazel Pollock of Bokoshe and Thursey Catlett and Neal of Hartford, Ark.; two brothers, Audie McMurtry of Stilwell and Carroll “Judge” McMurtry of Sallisaw; and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, David McMurtry; two sisters-in-law, Bonnie McMurtry and Lena McMurtry; and two nephews, Carroll McMurtry Jr. and Michael Christopher Rogers.
