Vian Mayor Dennis Fletcher announced as of Monday, July 27, Vian Town Hall will be closing the lobby until further notice due to the rise in number of COVID-19 cases in Vian and the surrounding area.
"It’s been a long four months of 2020, and the truth is we don’t know what the next four months will look like. The impact of COVID-19 is being seen everywhere, especially in elderly populations. Whether you or a loved one lives at home or in a nursing home, it’s a stressful time filled with uncertainty. Keeping patients, staff and their loved ones safe is our most important goal. We are doing this by hand washing, routine cleaning of equipment and the patient’s home, and reducing the risk of transmitting pathogens these things come as second nature to home health workers. Our staff also know to socially distance themselves in other aspects of their lives to prioritize patient safety."
Editor’s note: If the age does not appear next to a name, it was not listed in the court record.
Together, Joe and Trudy Peters started the agency in 1995 after seeing a need in the community, and with God’s help, doing their best to meet that need. The company has grown in the last 25 years to help people with home health, hospice, case management and provider services. The agency has employed countless care givers and because of this has touched the lives of countless households.
