David ‘Niggy’ Soap
Nicut – Services for David “Niggy” Soap, 51, of Nicut were held Sat., March 9, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church in Nicut. Burial followed at Belfonte Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home.
Mr. Soap was born Jan. 25, 1968 in Tahlequah to Johnny Lee Soap and Nancy Marie Sevenstar Soap and passed this life Tues., March 5, 2019 in Tahlequah. He married Annette Riley Soap on July 20, 1990 in Nicut.
He worked as a painter for Lee Merry for 15 years and was currently working for Cititrends.
Survivors include his wife, Annette of the home; one son, Jason Bush of Nicut; one daughter, Julie Hallum of Roland;10 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; his father, Johnny Soap of Nicut; one brother, Roy Soap and wife Debbie of Roland; three sisters, Norma Spoon and husband Mike of Nicut, Shirley Moore and husband Ronnie of Nicut, and Mary Hurley and husband Jonathan of Pocahontas, Ark.; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother and one daughter, Jackie Bush.
Pallbearers were Tim Dustman, Anthony Spoon, Michael Spoon, Royce Soap, Gabe Coleman, Luke Coleman, Mike Spoon and Tanner Williamson.
Honorary pallbearers were Joe Neighbors, Gary Pritchett, Roy Coleman, Roy Lee Sanders, James Bovee, Lee Merry, Jason Bush and Scott Coleman.
