I-40 Bridge under replacement project
The bridge that runs over the 297 mile marker (Vian exit) on U.S. Interstate-40 was closed for nearly 11 hours on US-SH 82 last Wednesday evening and shrunk to one-lane traffic on I-40 as part of the Oklahoma Department of Transportation’s ongoing pavement and bridge replacement project. The $37 million project will replace six miles of pavement on I-40 and improve six bridges from near SH-10 to just east of SH-82 junction.
