Power is restored

Linemen with Cookson Hills Electric worked for over eight hours Sunday replacing a double circuit pole from the vian Substation that was reportedly destroyed earlier in the day by a car crash. Cookson Hills Electric said unfortunately, these types of pole replacements are tedious and take more time than others. The electric company said they wish to thank their customers for their patience in restoring the power. Electric customers south of vian were reportedly out of power from 4 p.m. Sunday to around 12:30 a.m. Monday. COOKSPN HILLS ELECTRIC
