Students at Gore participated in “Mellow Yellow” Day in honor of Spina Bifida Awareness month. In order to show their support, students wore yellow shirts, yellow pants, yellow hair bows, yellow socks, and the Character Council made yellow lapel pins for everyone to wear. The Gore student said she felt good and gave a thumbs-up when asked how they felt about the school supporting and caring about them. The student’s mom said the child felt very special.
