Tonya Gates, fifth grade teacher at Vian Elementary, said students recently got together and held a canned food drive for the Vian Peace Center. Gates said Richard Tyler picked up 3,500 canned goods from the school Friday afternoon to distribute at the Center in time for the holidays. TONYA GATES
