Vian Fire Chief Keith Boshers said firefighters were dispatched to Deborah Wright’s residence on Hunter Street in Vian at 6:46 a.m. Monday morning for a house fire where they found the home fully engulfed. Wright told firefighters she was home when the fire started around the fireplace area but the cause remained undetermined as of press time. Boshers said Vian Fire Department was assisted by firefighters with both McKey and Rural Fire Protection Dist. 1 and that the home was a total loss.
