Sallisaw – David Wayne Hammerberg, 54, of Sallisaw, died on Sunday, May 21, 2023, in Sallisaw. He was born on Nov. 21, 1968, in Omaha, Neb., to Harlan David Hammerberg and Linda Violet Marie (Puckett) Hammerberg.

No formal service is planned at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

He worked as a general laborer. Survivors include his mother, of the home; his father, of Escanaba, Mich.; one sister, Jamie Lee of Sallisaw, one brother, Brian Evans of Nebraska; and other family members and friends.
