(Bird) Nofire. He died on Thursday, May 18, 2023, in Oklahoma City.
He worked as an EVS Supervisor at Cherokee Casino in Roland.
Survivors include his spouse, Tamera Tarin; children, Taeler, Robert, Ashley, Sam Shelby, Todd, Stefani, Jose, Juan and Chadisty; his parents, of Muldrow; two sisters, Sylvia and Charlie Holmes of Long and Rebecca Nofire and Jonathan Bird of Muldrow; several grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Mose Nofire Jr.; and one sister, Amy Nofire.
Pallbearers were Charlie Holmes, Todd Johnson, Ricky Don Teehee, TJ Younger, Shelby Noel and Juan Tarin.
Sallisaw – Funeral services for Scotty Alan Nofire, 48, of Sallisaw, were at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at the Agent & Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw.
Burial was at Belfonte Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mr. Nofire was born on July 21, 1974, in Tahlequah to Mose Nofire and Mary Mae
