Muldrow – Funeral services for Johnny Dale Floyd, 70, of Muldrow, were at 2 p.m. Monday, June 19, 2023, at First Assembly God Church in Muldrow. Burial was at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mr. Floyd was born on May 10, 1953, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Johnny Doyle Floyd and Virginia Lee (Lowrimore) Floyd. He died on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, in Muldrow.
He was an Assembly of God pastor and prison chaplain, and pastored at Vian Assembly of God Church.
He married Virginia Ann Overton on Nov. 17, 1972, in Greenwood, Ark.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Floyd of the home; three daughters, Jennifer Gail Robinson of Harrison, Ark., Lorena Ann Goforth of Cameron and Joanna Dale Jackson of Roland; one sister, Sondra Reynolds of DeQueen, Ark..; one brother, Arthur Floyd of Huntington, Ark.; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren on the way; and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Stanley Floyd.
Pallbearers were Tyler Robinson, Jayden Jackson, Logan Brazil, Jacob Jackson, Jeff Robinson and Alan Gorforth.
