Memorial services for Geraldine “Jerry” Mauck, 96, will be held at 11 a.m. Aug. 12, 2023, at Messiah Lutheran Church in Oklahoma City.
She was born on June 25, 1927, to Wes and Vergie Ellis in Sallisaw. She died on Monday, July 24, 2023.
She spent her working career at Western Electric/ATT with 40 years of service and retired in 1987, as the Pioneer Administrator. She was very active with the Salvation Army, The Jesus House and The Street People. She received the Presidential Award presented by Ronald Regan at the White House in 1987. In addition to community service, she was an active member of Messiah Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Russell and Roy of Hutchinson, Kan.; son, Kent and Marsha of Oklahoma City; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Her husband Merle “Red” preceded her in death in January 2019.
