Sheari Drew-Roark was chosen as one of Vian’s Favorite Daughters for 2023.
Sheari is the daughter of Thomas and Rose Drew, the granddaughter of the late Tom and Sheary Drew, and Robert and Janice Hutchinson.
She is married to Jonathan Roark, Jr. and they have three wonderful children, Da’Sha, Kaidence and Josiah.
Sheari is a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church where her dad is the minister. She has lived in Vian her entire life and loves this little town, where you always feel loved and wanted.
Sheari has been associated with Vian Public School System for the past eight and one-half years. She cherishes all the time helping students at school and making special bonds with them. She is also a coach for Nica/ Vian Mountain Bike Club, which coaches kids from sixth to 12th grade who are interested in trying Mountain Biking.
Sheari has also served in the commu-nity by being a youth league softball and baseball coach for the past 10 years, and says she enjoys every minute of it.
“It is such an honor to be selected as a Favorite Daughter and to accept this award. Thank you so much to the town of Vian for selecting me,” she said.
