He tried to take God’s place and overthrow Him

He tried to take God’s place and overthrow Him. He convinced one-third of the angels to follow him and they were all kicked out of Heaven. There is no redemption for them once he fell from such a high position to such a low position. Don’t you know he thought about how he let it happen? He simply entertained a thought that he didn’t need God and could take His place.

He thought about that until he actually acted on it. Now he knows if he can get mankind to entertain his thoughts instead of God’s word, he can steal, kill and destroy them. All of mankind are descendants of Adam, regardless of color or race or location, we all came from one blood, we’re all descendants of Adam and Eve.

Adam wasn’t deceived like Eve, so when he bowed his knee to Satan, he sold all of mankind out. Now all of mankind stands guilty before God.

Romans 5:12: Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.

Someone may say that’s not fair, I wasn’t there and it wasn’t me that did the act.

But, God knows and understands what to do. Adam passed on this nature of spiritual death to all of us. But Jesus is called a second Adam. He came to fix what the first Adam messed up. He came to rescue fallen man (Romans 5:18-19).

So, the first Adam sold us into slavery to sin, but the last Adam Jesus made a way out of slavery. He came and took the place of all mankind. He became sin for us so that we could be made right with God by faith in Him.

He died a sinner’s death on the cross even though He never sinned. He was separated from God, like we were. He went to Hell in our place and after three days our debt was paid and He rose from the dead. He took the keys of death and Hell from Satan Now whoever believes this and confesses Him as Lord is born again born of God.
