Gore runner makes Top 5 at Muskogee Invitational

MUSKOGEE — Gore’s Hallie Kinion made the Top 5 at Thursday’s Muskogee Invitational, which took place at Hatbox Sports Complex. Kinion ran the 5k race in 21:55 to finish third.

Besides Kinion, the Lady Pirates had two other runners. Amelia White was 37th (27:55) and Gracie Bruce was 50th (33:26).

The Gore Pirates finished sixth in the junior high boys standings with 153 points.

Colton Frye’s 31stplace finish was the highest mark for the Pirates as he ran the mile-long course in 15:03. Rylan Lane was 33rd (15:08), Cole Brooksher was 37th (15:27), Trenton Cunningham was 41st (15:44), Weston Cunningham was 42nd (15:46), Benson Hunt was 61st (17:32) and Eli Munson was 62nd (17:33).
