McCain, Robert Eidson, Micheal and Sarah Eidson; and her grandchildren, Emma McCain, Silas Mc-Cain and Jazzlyn Eidson. She is also survived by her brother, Eric and Angela Collins; her mother, Darlene (Johnson) Collin; and countless other relatives and friends.
Wendy was preceded in death by her father, Leland Collins; her grandparents, Voyd and Mary Collins, and LD and Caprice Johnson. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Wendy attended Vian Public Schools and graduated in 1988. She was a cheerleader and a member of the marching band.
In her free time, Wendy enjoyed singing. Her beautiful voice would fill the room and bring joy to those around her. One of her favorite people to sing with was her father, Leland Collins. Her love for music was evident in her passion for singing.
A ceremony to honor Wendy’s life will be held at Landmark Missionary Baptist in Vian at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023. Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate Wendy’s life and share cherished memories.
Wendy LeAnn Collins will be remembered for her loving nature, her beautiful voice, her devotion to her family and her devotion to God, as a member of the Remnant Church of Latter Day Saints. She leaves behind a legacy of love and will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew her.
Oklahoma City – Wendy LeAnn Collins, 53, of Oklahoma City, passed away on Sept. 7, 2023. She was born on July 12, 1970, in Muskogee.
Wendy was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter.
