Linda Jane Watts Box, 83, was born June 12, 1941, in Yellow Hammer to Civil Jim Watts and Alma Estie (Chisum) Watts. She died on January 14, 2024, in Gore.
A memorial service is pending at this time under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Services.
She was the oldest of 13 children and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed dancing, sewing, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors are a daughter, Carroll Miller of Gore; one son, Glen Box and Terry of Gore; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Gordon C. Box; grandson, Dewayne C. Box; three brothers, Charles Watts, Jimmy Watts and George Watts; sister, Wilma Mitchell; and nephew, Mason Ward.
