Gore powerlifters place at regular-season final meet at Panama

PANAMA — Several Gore Pirates powerlifters placed at last weekend’s Iron Hog Classic, which took place Thursday (junior high division) and Friday (high school division).

In the high school division, Drake Cowart was a champion, while Tate Brooksher came in third.

In the junior high division, Jayden Gates, Treydan Daugherty, Cole Ralston and Cole Brooksher all were champions, while Jaxon Denton, Luke Wisdom, Devon Mannon and T.J. Abercrombie were runners-up and Seth Current was third.

The Pirates will participate in next weekend’s Class A Regional Powerlifting Meet in Hartshorne.
