Funeral services for Eula Faye Wilson Sparks, 96, of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 9,2024, at First Baptist Church in Sallisaw.
Burial followed at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mrs. Sparks was born on March 22,1927, to Cene Norma (Lessley) Wilson and Riley Mason Wilson. She died on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, in Tahlequah.
She was married to John Lester “Sonny” Sparks Jr. on Feb. 11,1948, in Van Buren, Ark. He preceded her in death on March 3, 2008. She was formerly a service representative for Southwestern Bell Telephone, and a member of Sallisaw First Baptist Church. Survivors are two daughters, Susanne Roth and Harry of Sallisaw and Sally Williams of Tahlequah; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and three sisters, Delala Moon, Ruth Woodward and Laura Gene Riggs.
Pallbearers were Steve Sullivan, Geoffrey Sparks, Ray Sparks, Randy Riggs, Wesley Gene Riggs and Ryan Harp.
