Tenkiller State Park’s Earth Day celebration will be held on Saturday, April 20, with several activities scheduled throughout the day. Refreshments will be provided.
Events are as follows: 9 A.M.-NATIVE BEE HOTEL: Come help us help our native bees that do not make honey but do make fruit, nuts, and much more through pollination.
11 A.M.-TRASH TALK HIKE: Let’s talk trash and maybe pick up a bit along the way.
1 P.M.-LITTER BUG CRAFT: Make a fun bug of your own creation. Please bring a quart sized bag of clean trash to build your bug out of. Pop bottle lids, small juice bottles, candy wrappers, or small clean milk box just to name some choices.
3 P.M.-EARTH DAY CHARADES: Can you act? Are you good at regular charades? We have Earth Day cards with things that are from a healthy earth or things that are not healthy for our planet.
