Central hurdler/runner places at state

OKLAHOMA CITY — Central Tiger runner/ hurdler Braxin Goodson placed in both of his Class 2A State Track Meet individual events last weekend at Western Heights High School.

Goodson was fourth in both the 800-meter run (42.9 seconds) and was sixth in the 800-meter run (2:03.18).

As for other Central state individual qualifiers, Zachary Comer was 12th in the discus (114-3).

The Tigers’ 1,600-meter relay team of Gavin Randolph, Dillon Miller, Cale Stewart and Goodson was eighth (3:41.09), while the Lady Tigers’ 3,200-meter relay foursome of Paris Campbell, Cambree Bair, Gracie Thompson and Avery Warner was 12th (10:59.68).
