Keep Your Eyes on Jesus Christ
By Pastor Reggie Kelley, Blackgum Christian Union Church,

The Christian Union Station

SATAN GOT KICKED OUT OF HEAVENAND HE WANTS TO ROB YOU OF HEAVEN! SATAN/LUCIFER STARTED HIS DIRTY WORK IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN ON ADAM AND EVE! HE KNOWS HE’S LOST AND HE WANTS TO ROB PEOPLE OF THEIR ETERNAL LIFE BECAUSE WE WERE MADE IN THE IMAGE OF GOD AND HE HATES GOD!

Genesis 1:26-29 26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. 29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

SATAN, THAT OL’ SERPENT, DIDN’T LIKE ANY OF THIS AND MOVED TO MESS MANKIND UP! Genesis 3:1-6 1Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. 6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

SATAN THOUGHT HE COULD TEMPT OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST! IT DIDN’T WORK OUT LIKE HE PLANNED!

Matthew 4:1-111 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. 2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. 3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. 4But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, 6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. 7Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; 9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. 10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. 11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

JESUS CHRIST MADE NOTE OF OL’ SATAN’S FALL FROM HEAVEN!

Luke 10:18 18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

TODAY, OL’ LUCIFER’S RUNNING AROUND THIS WORLD TO TEMPT PEOPLE TODAY! HE WANTS TO LEAD EVERYONE ASTRAY! BEWARE! IF SATAN TEMPTED JESUS CHRIST—WHO ARE WE!

I Peter 5:8-9 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

KEEP YOUR EYES ON JESUS CHRIST! DON’T LISTEN TO THE LIES OF OL’ SATAN! In the name of Jesus Christ, I love you… Please come to church to hear, study, and learn the WORD of God. Just COME AS YOU ARE. God bless!
