Funeral services for Loretta May (Cox) Johnson, 84, of Webbers Falls, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Assembly of God Church in Webbers Falls.
Cremation is under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
She was born on March 4, 1940, in Muskogee to Otis Menie and Lila Vaye (Judkins) Menie. She died on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, in Muskogee.
She was a 1958 graduate of Webbers Falls High School. She worked for the Muskogee Country Club, and retired after 22 years. After retirement she became an avid advocate for Jesus Christ.
Survivors include three daughters, Dianna and Ronnie Pevehouse, Rhonda Putsche and Tammy Cox, all of Webbers Falls; one son, Greg and Tammy Brown of Mack, Colo.; two step-sons, Mike Johnson and Greg and Angela Johnson, all of Fort Gibson; one sister, Nancy Sadler of Greenwood, Ark.; three grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Sonya Liston; one son, Rodney Brown; two brothers, Mutt and Jack Menie; and three sisters, Dorothy Pritt, Ruth Shirley and Mary Lou Harp.
Pallbearers were her grandchildren.
