Norman Pierce Spencer, 84, of Vian, died on July 2, 2024. He was born on October 10, 1939, in Sallisaw, to Beatrice and Littleton Spencer.
Mr. Spencer was a 1957 graduate of Vian High School and worked as a master contractor and carpenter. He enjoyed gardening and sharing the fruits of his labor with neighbors and friends.
He was married to Ruby Lee Spencer on December 26, 1958 in Stigler. She precedes him in death.
Survivors are his children, Anita and Kenneth Murphy, Mike and Sandra Spencer, and Jenell and Les Locust; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, James Spencer of Sallisaw and George Spencer of Athens, Texas; one sister, Bertha (Spencer) Jarrell of Bakersfield, Calif.; and several other family and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Delbert, Bert (Pete), Manual, Bob and Wilburn Spencer; and two sisters, Viola (Spencer) Messica and Hazel (Spencer) Burris.
Services were under the direction of Green Country Funeral Home of Tahlequah.
