Graveside Service for Byron F. Young, 74, of Gore, Oklahoma, will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 16, 2024 at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
He was born on February 25, 1950 in Jefferson City, Missouri to Flora P. (Alexander) Young and Harry A. Young and passed away on August 8, 2024 in Gore, Oklahoma. He was married to Mary Jane Young on July 9, 1987. She preceded him in death on June 11, 2010. Byron was a former truck driver and a veteran of the United States Air Force. He enjoyed tinkering, fixing things, doing woodwork and being outside.
Survivors are companion, Denise of the home; one daughter, Breanna Hannen and Elijah of Grand Portage, MN; one son, Byron Young, Jr. of Iowa Falls, IA; five grandchildren, Damone Martin, Andre Planter, Elanna Hannen, Kooper Young and Kent Young; one brother, Jerry Young of California; and several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary; an infant child; one sister, Linda; two brothers, Larry and Harry Young.
