Funeral services for Robert Lattimore were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024, at Way of the Cross Freewill Baptist Church in Sallisaw. Burial followed at Akins Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mr. Lattimore was born on Dec. 26, 1952, in Marysville, Calif., to Roma Kathryn (Strickland) Lattimore and Billy Charles Lattimore. He died on Aug. 30, 2024.
He was a 1971 graduate of Central High School, and attended one semester at Connors State College. He previously worked at a Fort Smith furniture factory and Whirlpool, and retired from Graphic Packaging in 2015.
He was married to Ima Lou Henry on May 30, 1972, in Sherman, Texas.
Survivors are his wife, Ima Lou Lattimore of the home; two daughters, Alisa Lattimore and Tony Hill of Miller Ridge and Amy Lattimore-Blalock and Jason of Sallisaw; one son, Blake Lattimore and Nichole of Sallisaw; five grandchildren; one greatgranddaughter; two sisters, Teresa Catsavis, and Connie Olcott and Grant all of Miller Ridge; one brother, Gary Don Lattimore and Paige of Akins; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and grandparents, R.B. and Magnolia Lattimore and Wilbert and Anna Strickland.
Pallbearers were Gary Long, Pete Cottrell, Ryan Roth, Seth Lattimore, Cole Brightwell and Trajan Lattimore.
Honorary pallbearers were Tony Demaree, Terry Lattimore, Shannon Browning and Sam Lattimore.
