Funeral services for Tanya Michelle (Cook) Teehee, 51, of Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial followed at Belfonte Cemetery in Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mrs. Teehee was born on June 27, 1973 in Fort Smith, Ark., to Deborah A. (Branham) Cook and Othel H. Cook, Jr. She died on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, in Sallisaw.
She was married to Ricky Teehee Sr. on April 27, 1991, in Belfonte.
She was a homemaker and a cook at the Beacon, Sonic, Wendy’s, Worldburger, Long John Silvers and A&W. She was a Sunday school teacher and attended Belfonte Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband, of the home; two sons, Rickey Teehee Jr. and Ashlee, and Christian L. Teehee, all of Sallisaw; her parents, of Muldrow; one sister, Carolyn Hammock and Robert of Muldrow; one brother, Michael Cook of Muldrow; sister-inlaw, Dorothy Teehee of Belfonte; brother-in-law, Jeff Teehee of Belfonte; and several other relatives and a host of friends.
Pallbearers were Rickey Teehee Sr., Rickey Teehee Jr., Christian Teehee, Jeff Teehee, Aaron Denny and Phillip Denny.
Honorary pallbearers were Christopher Gossett, Jeremy Hall and Michael Cook.
