Funeral services for Richard Allen Turner, 69, of Muskogee, were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 6, 2024, at the Agent & Mallory-Martin Chapel in Muldrow. Burial was at Roland City Cemetery under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mr. Turner was born on Dec. 1, 1955, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Lewie Gid Turner and Mary Lou (Perceful) Allison. He died on Monday, Dec. 2, 2024, in Muskogee.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and retired engineer. He worked for Rheem, Tran and Air Systems.
He married Ann Woodard on Oct. 8, 1986, in Fort Smith. She preceded him in death on June 16, 1994.
Survivors include two daughters, Sabrina and Bryson Lane and Candace and Tyler Lane, all of Muskogee; three sons, Robert and Kena LaFave of Wagoner, Kevin Angel of Vian, and Matthew and Summer Angel of Sallisaw; one brother, Danny and Dixie Turner of Columbus, Mich.; numerous grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his parents. Pallbearers were family members.
