Memorial services for Mary L. Reynolds, 92, of Broken Arrow were held at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 7, 2025, at First Methodist Church of Broken Arrow. Burial followed at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian under the direction of Hayhurst Funeral Home, Broken Arrow.
Mrs. Reynolds was born on Sept. 14, 1932, in Webbers Falls to Herman and Myrtle Clark. She passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025.
She was a graduate of Webbers Falls High School, and received her Bachelor and Masters degrees in Education from Northeastern State University. She taught at Vian and Broken Arrow until her retirement. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Broken Arrow, and enjoyed sports and playing softball.
She married James C. “Pap” Reynolds on Aug. 31, 1951. He precedes her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Diana and Larry Clayton of Collinsville and Carrol and Jim Aikman of Oklahoma City; one grandson; sister, Margarette Taylor of Norman; and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in her name to Vian United Methodist Church.
