Dena Christine Jasna, 54, of Sallisaw, died on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, in Fort Smith, Ark. She was born on March 16, 1971, in Tulsa to Gary Dale Pyle and Pamela (Wright) Panozzo.

No formal service is planned at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

She was an LPN in obstetrics.

She married Shawn Jasna on Oct. 18, 1989, in Boulder, Colo.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons, Colton and Courtney Jasna of Fort Smith and Sonny and Shelby Jasna of Sallisaw; one daughter, Sierra Jasna and fiancé Abby Mark of Clarksville, Ark.; two step-sisters, Angie Panozzo of Michigan and Christiine Panozzo of Muskogee; mother and step-father, Pam and Vic Panozzo of Broken Arrow; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father.
