ALVA — Former Vian Lady Wolverines softball player Greenlee Wells and the Oklahoma Baptist University Bison routed Northwestern Oklahoma State University 14-5 in six innings on Sunday before they were slated to play the final two games of the Great American Conference series on Monday.
Wells went 2-for-3 in the game with her 11th double, four runs scored and a run batted in.
Through 37 games, Wells is hitting .360 with 11 doubles, 1 triple, 10 home runs, 38 RBIs, 25 runs scored and six stolen bases.
After Wells and the Bison (23-14 overall, 16-5 in GAC play) played the final two games of the series against NWOSU on Monday, they will play a road GAC series against Harding University in Searcy, Ark., with a 4 p.m. doubleheader on Friday and a noon game on Saturday before entertaining Northeastern State University for a 4 p.m. twinbill next Tuesday in Shawnee.
