Delores Gaye Qualls Buckaloo

Jan. 12, 1955 – April 6, 2025

Fuineral services for Delores Gaye (Qualls) Buckaloo, 70, of Gore, was held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 11, 2025, at First Baptist Church in Blackgum. Burial followed at Box Cemetery north of Vian, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Mrs. Buckaloo was born on Jan. 12, 1955, in Lubbock, Texas, to Mary Lafawn (Long) Hepp and Roy Virgil Qualls. She passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025.

She married Freddie Eugene “Gene” Buckaloo on Sept. 19, 1984, in Lubbock.

She was a homemaker and ran her own cleaning business.

Survivors are her husband, Gene Buckaloo of the home; three daughters, Jessica Knox of Houston, Krissy Valentine of Vian, and Kimberly Warren and Jason of Broken Arrow; son, Bill Francis of Shallow Water, Texas; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Belinda Robinson of Dallas; three brothers, Christopher Allen of Lubbock, Christopher Onley of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, and Randall Richardson of Bakersfield, Calif.; and numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Mike Qualls; and her grandparents, Clint and Bertie Long.
