Seven Gore 4-H members traveled to Oklahoma State University on April 5 to attend the Oklahoma 4-H Rising Leaders Conference in Stillwater. Designed for students in grades third through seventh, the conference offered hands-on workshops in STEM, healthy living, public speaking, leadership, natural resources, companion animals, and more. Participants explored civic engagement, dog training basics, engineering through art and sound, and even outdoor survival skills like compass navigation and map drawing. Throughout the day, students developed leadership and communication skills, discovered new project areas, and connected with 4-Hers from across the state.
