Funeral services for J. Todd Lenington, 66, of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Apostolic Faith Church in Sallisaw.
Burial followed at Akins Cemetery in Sallisaw under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mr. Lenington was born on June 20, 1958, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Rubye Onita (Mize) Cannon and James Curtis Lenington. He passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, in Sallisaw.
He was a rancher and farmer. Survivors are his wife, Sherry Lenington of Muldrow; son, Todd C. Lenington and Paula of Muldrow; five grandchildren; mother, of New Braunfels, Texas; two sisters, Gayla Jones and Mike of New Braunfels and Sloan Sandoval and Tony of Kyle, Texas; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father. Pallbearers were Cooper, Parker and Ranger Lenington, Monte Thompson, Jim Wilburn and Nathan Lowrimore.
Honorary pallbearers were Colter Lenington, Tony Sandoval, Carl White, Mike Jones, James Treat and Bill Parish.
