A Celebration of Life was held for Peggy Sue (Haskins) Montgomery, 92, at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 28, 2025, at Round Mountain Church under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Mrs. Montgomery was born on Oct. 19, 1932, north of Vian to Schuyler and Eulalia (Starnes) Haskins. She passed away on Tues., April 22, 2025.

She attended grade school at Carlile and high school at Vian. She was very proud of her Christian family heritage and always eager to share her Christian experience.

She married T.M. Montgomery in 1953. He preceded her in death in 2014.

Survivors are her children, Thomas M. Montgomery III and wife Montie, Schuyler W. Montgomery and wife Bobbie, John B. Montgomery and Diana Montgomery; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Boyd; and sisters, Mary Nell, Phyllis, Vurla, Velma and Ruie.

Pallbearers were Tommy Montgomery, Caleb Montgomery, Bradford Montgomery, Jonathan Sheffield, Colton Montgomery and Matt Holland.
