OKLAHOMA CITY — Central Tigers hurdler Braxin Goodson was the state runnerup in the 300-meter hurdles at the Class 2A State Meet, which took place last weekend at Western Heights High School. His time was 40.46 seconds.
The Tigers’ 1,600-meter relay team of Gavin Randolph, Noah Buzzard, Dillon Miller and Goodson was third (3:32).
Randolph was seventh in the 400-meter dash (51.63 seconds), Cole Holcomb was 12th in the shot put (41-4.5) and Buzzard was 16th in the 800-meter run (2:10.66).
For the Lady Tigers, Alyvia Warner was seventh in the 300-meter hurdles (48.53 seconds), Charlie Petree was seventh in the shot put (3311.5) and the 1,600-me-ter relay team Warner, Jhaselyn Gonzalez, Paris Campbell and Cambree Bair was 10th (4:21.1).
The three Gore Pirates hurdlers also placed at last weekend’s state meet as Devon Mannon was sixth in the 300-meter hurdles (41.63 seconds), while Weston Cunningham was seventh (15.8) and Trenton Cunningham was 15th (17.14) in the 110-meter hurdles.
Vian high jumper Ethan Bullock tied for 10th (5-10).
