Vian Band of Gold competes in Branson

The Vian Band of Gold performed in the Heartland Music Festival Competition at Hollister High School on May 3, in Branson, Mo. The band received Superior ratings from the judges. After their success, they enjoyed the day at Silver Dollar City. The band would like to thank all their sponsors who helped get them to this contest, and an extra thank you to Sallisaw McDonald’s for feeding them breakfast that morning. Lastly, thank you to band director Ms. Rhodes for all your hard work, you will be missed!
