The Boys and Girls Club of Sequoyah County has just kicked off their 2025 Summer Program, and they’re excited to begin the coming weeks of fun, learning, and growth ahead for the amazing youth that the program serves.
As they look forward to a summer full of enrichment and activity, they are also planning ahead to ensure the members are supported all the way through to the final days.
“The Boys and Girls Club is currently seeking donations to help provide lunches for about 100 individuals, including children, staff and volunteers, during the last three weeks of the program,” Heather Silva, Board Member, said.
Silva said the period runs from July 14 – August 1.
“This support will help wrap up the summer on a strong and positive note, ensuring that everyone involved stays fueled and focused,” she said. ‘Your contribution will make a direct and meaningful impact on The Boys and Girls Club members and keep the momentum going through the end of the season.”
Silva said those interested in supporting efforts of the Club, or needing more information on how to help, can reach out to her at 918208-3332 or Hsilva@sallisaw.org.
“We would be happy to coordinate logistics and further share how your generosity will be recognized,” she said. “Thank you for being part of the village that lifts up our youth. The Boys and Girls Club couldn’t do this important work without community partners like you.”
