The board also unanimously approved a new district liability and casualty insurance quote from the Oklahoma Schools Insurance Group. The policy, totaling $153,683.00, will cover the district in the coming year.

His report included a district budget update and a list of ongoing and planned summer projects. Highlights included exterior painting of the Lower Elementary (LE) gym, the construction of a sidewalk to the softball dressing room, and updates on the official representation of the Gore Professional Teachers Association (GPTA), which is now represented by the Professional Oklahoma Educators (POE) following a majority vote by certified teachers on June 2.
In other business, the board approved the use of the LE gym by Miccha Johnson for basketball practice during the summer season. The practice sessions are scheduled from June 10 through August 1.
