A Vian woman has been sentenced to more than 12 years in federal prison for her role in trafficking methamphetamine across eastern Oklahoma, federal authorities announced.
Stephanie Leigh Rodgers, 40, also known by the aliases Stephanie Larsen, Stephanie Yoder and Stephanie Ward, received a 151-month prison sentence for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. The sentencing was handed down by U.S. District Judge John F. Heil III in the Eastern District of Oklahoma.
Rodgers pleaded guilty to the charge on Jan. 13, 2025. According to court records, her arrest followed a monthslong investigation conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, To- bacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the Sequoyah County Sheriff ’s Office. She was apprehended on Aug. 19, 2024, after selling about 447 grams, which is nearly a pound of methamphetamine, to an undercover officer.
Investigators also linked Rodgers to the sale of an estimated 3.5 kilograms (about 7.7 pounds) of methamphetamine in the months leading up to her arrest.
In addition to her prison sentence, Rodgers will serve three years of supervised release. Because her sentence is a federal conviction, she is not eligible for parole. She will remain in custody of the U.S. Marshals Service until she is transferred to a designated Bureau of Prisons facility.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Jordan Howanitz prosecuted the case on behalf of the United States.
“This case demonstrates the importance of law enforcement collaboration in fighting the ongoing methamphetamine crisis in our communities,” the U.S. Attorney’s Office said in a statement following the sentencing.
