Stellar Brew now open in Vian

ALLY TROTTER, NEWS INTERN

A new and exciting addition has officially arrived in Vian, Stellar Brew, bringing a fresh variety of beverages and food options to town.

Conveniently located next to Simple Simon’s pizza, this charming coffee shop is owned by local entrepreneur Celeste Reaves.

Reaves said she grew up in Vian and spent some time living in Tulsa after she was married. It was while working in a few different coffee shops in Tulsa that she realized she had a passion for coffee, talking to customers, and creating a welcoming space for people to enjoy.

“After working in several shops and being away from home, I decided to move back to Vian and start a coffee truck,” Reaves said. Then an opportunity to open her own coffee shop in Vian fell right in her lap when “Deelightful Brew” unfortunately closed its doors.

At Stellar Brew, customers will find a wide range of beverages and foods, rather than just coffee. From homemade chai to refreshing Lotus drinks made with natural caffeine, the drink menu is sure to have something for everyone.

The business also offers a selection of iced beverages, including lemonade, Italian sodas, the unique Stellar Rush, and even has slushies. For those who prefer to stick to coffee there are still plenty of options available.

“I want there to be something for everyone, even if they don’t drink caffeine or maybe just don’t like coffee,” Reaves said.

Their menu offers mini pancakes with an array of toppings to choose from, charcuterie and breakfast boxes, as well as chocolate dipped cheesecake, and a weekly special rotating baked goods from Granny Smith Bakes in Gore.

“Eventually, we plan to do soups and sandwiches, paninis, maybe even salads; we’re just kind of feeling it at the beginning and seeing what people like,” she added.

Stellar Brew is currently operating on summer hours, which are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Once the school year starts, Reaves said she plans to adjust the hours to better accommodate the schedules of her customers.

Reaves shared something she is looking forward to is “Talking to people, brightening their day and making them a drink that they love is something I look forward to,” Reaves added, stating she and her coworkers are dedicated to making their customers’ experience enjoyable.
