Celebration of Life service for Cranford Rickey Cook, 74, of Vian were held at 11 a.m. on Monday Aug., 4, 2025, at Blackgum Harvestime Church in Vian.
Mr. Cook was born on Dec. 31, 1950, in Dallas, Texas, to Cranford and Billie Cook. He passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, in Fort Smith, Ark.
He graduated from Sunset High School in Dallas and proudly served his country as a mechanic for U.S. Naval Aviation. He was a Christian man who loved God, a good game and a great cookout.
Survivors are his loving wife, Deborah Cook of Vian; children, Christopher Cook and wife Kim of Austin, Texas, Courtney Cook and partner Sam O’dell of Moore, Tracy Thorne and husband Stephen of Austin, Drew Cook of Oklahoma City, Kelsey Ahern and husband Jesse of Tuttle, Stephen Lambert of Tulsa, Jonathan Lugo and wife Am of Rocky and T.J. Coley and wife Molly of Harrah; brother-in-law, Gary Craik; 14 grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Charlotte Craik.
