Funeral services for DeLois Andrews Kyle, 87, of Sallisaw were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 11, 2025, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial followed at Akins Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory-Martin Funeral Home, Inc.
Mrs. Kyle was born on June 20, 1938, in Sallisaw, to Jettie Mae (Tweedy) Anderson and Robert Alfred Andrews. She passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2025, in Fort Smith, Ark.
She married Jack Kyle on May 22, 1974, in Fort Smith. He preceded her in death on Sept. 8, 2005.
She enjoyed arts and crafts, quilting, gardening, and the company of her beloved dog, Mitzi.
Survivors are three sons, Mike Thomas and Laurel of Fort Smith, Marvin Thomas and Linda of Pocola and Jason Kyle of Lonoke, Ark.; three daughters, Melissa Forand and Roland of Van Buren, Ark., Kelly Hicks and Randal of Fort Smith and Kathy Walker of Fort Smith; 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two brothers, A.C. Andrews and Fern of Sallisaw and Dewey Andrews of Afton; and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Crystal Wilson and Donna Rye; sister, Robbie Trueblood; and brother, J.D. Andrews.
Pallbearers were Shawn Thomas, Kenny Kyle, Ashtyn Thomas, Aiden Thomas, James Rye and Kason Jones.
