Sanders Street from Highway 82 in Vian is shut down while town workers make repairs to the roadway, reportedly caused by semi damage. “This will take some time and may cause short delays between the repairs and football field construction, when school starts Thursday,” Vian Police Chief Mark Harkins said. “Please plan ahead for any delays. We are still working pre-school traffic enforcement to make motorists aware of the school children and student athletes crossing the roadway.”
