Funeral services for Bill Clinton Land, 95, of Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11, 2025, at the Agent Mallory- Martin Chapel in Sallisaw.
Burial was at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mr. Land was born on Feb. 17, 1930, in Drumright, to Rufus Land and Georgia (Cargill) Land. He died on Thursday, Aug. 7, 2025, in Sallisaw.
He was the owner and butcher at Downtown Supermarket, a U.S. Air Force veteran and a charter member of Eastside Baptist Church in Sallisaw.
He married Betty Cassady on Oct. 20, 1953, in Van Buren, Ark.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Land of the home; and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers.
Pallbearers were Don Auld, Steve Rutherford, Greg Ruark, Barney Girdner, Preston Collins and Donnie Kibbe.
