Due to the upcoming construction at the elementary campus, Gore Public Schools has made changes to school times at both of their campuses. Please note the following updates to the start and end times for all students attending Gore, as well as pickup and drop-off procedures.

Morning drop-off procedures Elementary: Start time: First bell at 8:05 a.m. /Tardy bell at 8:10 a.m.

Middle/High School: NEW start time: First bell at 8 a.m. / Tardy bell at 8:05 a.m.

Parents may simply drop their students off at either of the front entry doors. Middle school students must report directly to the cafeteria. High school students may wait in the hallway until the first bell rings.

Students are not allowed to loiter in the parking lot or bathrooms.

Afternoon Pick-up Procedures Elementary: New end time: 3:20 p.m.

All students will be released from class at 3:20 p.m. The buses will load first. The car line will begin at about 3:25 p.m. Parents, to avoid traffic congestion, please do not line up earlier than 3:15 p.m.

Middle/High School: New end time: 3:15 p.m.

All students will be released when the bell rings. Student drivers will exit the northwest door. Car-riders will exit the main HS doors. See attached map for more information.

Afternoon Bus Routes Elementary: Bus-riders will be released at 3:20 p.m. The buses will leave the high school first and then travel to the elementary.

All students must be picked up at their own school campus. This includes students with siblings at the high school campus. The buses will no longer take students to the high school campus for pickup.

Middle/High School: Bus-riders will exit the northwest doors of the building to load the buses at 3:15 p.m.
