Vian Public Schools is wanting to go where Inola Public Schools did last year.
Last year, Inola Public Schools won $2 million in the T-Mobile Friday Night 5G Lights Contest, which essentially is a virtual contest to show which town in the United States has more support and connection with its local high school football team.
Vian Public Schools would like to be the possible $2 million winning school.
Vian Wolverines’ fans and patrons are urged to enter creative photographs, videos, creative images, etc … and send them to four different social media outlets — #FN5GL, #sweepstakes, @tmobile and @vianschools.
People can enter as many photographs, videos and other such entries as desired up until approximately mid September, when at that time people will be allowed to vote for which school they think has more support and connection with its local high school football team.
Vian Public Schools was one of several Oklahoma schools to “make the first cut” and be awarded $5,000. “Making the next cut” will earn the school district $25,000 as well as a shot to get into the group of schools, like Inola last year, that earned $2 million.
